Friday Favorites: An Outdoor Fireplace and Hidden Jewelry Storage
Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend — can’t wait to see what else you’ve been up to, so come share at the party below!
Last week’s party had so many great projects — here are a few of our favorite picks from the party and from around the blogosphere.
First things first: it’s my favorite week(s) of the year! It’s our local home show and we’ve been trying to get in all FORTY houses this year. Wish us luck, and check out some sneak peeks over on Instagram, like this pretty kitchen in the Fixer Upper inspired house — we’ll be sharing more here on the site in the coming weeks as well.
Favorite bathroom makeover: Jaime over at That’s My Letter has a really fabulously historic house and I love the renovations she’s making — go check out her bathroom and that beautiful vanity for her wall-mount sink!
Favorite new backyard dream list feature: When I’m dreaming, I dream big, and now I’ve added this beautiful stacked stone fireplace by My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia to my list. Favorite new printable: In case you haven’t noticed, we love printables for quick and easy home decor or gift ideas, so this one from DIY Swank is on our list. Add it to a gallery wall, or it would also make the perfect housewarming gift!
Favorite hidden storage: Corey over at Sawdust 2 Stitches is a whiz at making hidden compartments, and this hidden jewelry storage is both beautiful and convenient.
Favorite new blue paint color: Isn’t this dresser by Thirty Eighth Street beautiful? The color is a combination of paint and glaze, so go check it out!
Favorite furniture makeover: Redo It Yourself Inspirations turned a so-so upholstered bench into this beautiful wooden piece. Amazing transformation!
Favorite new paint trick: I didn’t know you could get milk glass in a CAN now! See how Refresh Restyle used it here.
Lorene has been behind the scenes here at Remodelaholic for more than a decade! She believes that planning projects and actually completing them are two different hobbies, but that doesn't stop her from planning at least a dozen projects at any given time. She spends her free time creating memories with her husband and 5 kids, traveling as far as she can afford, and partaking of books in any form available.
Oh my goodness. Each of these features are stunning!!! 😮 Absolutely gorgeous updates and ideas – thanks for hosting!! 🙂
Thanks, Sarah!
Oooh I love when it’s home show time on your Instagram! Thanks for the party
Thank you so much for highlighting my bench, Cass! It’s such an honor!
