This month, I’m toning it down a notch and Nesting for Fall with cozy, comfy neutrals. Ahhhhh…..Just my speed.

I don’t know about you, but this time of year just has me wanting to cozy up and “nest” while decorating for autumn. These inspiring photos make me want to curl up by the fire and sip some hot cocoa.
This fur throw is soooo inviting! And how amazing are those lamps?!
I’m definitely going to have to add some plaid to my decor this fall.
How amazing are these walls?! And I love the simplicity of the simple green wreath above the fireplace.
You can never go wrong with feathers and pumpkins.

Aren’t these spaces just gorgeous?! Last year, I saw a lot of metallics and jewel tones for fall, but this year I’m really inspired by the plaid, fur and feathers, all in muted neutrals. I’m also noticing a trend with a lot of texture with natural elements such as dried wheat, dark greenery and brown leathers. The mood board I put together incorporates all these trends I’m loving, plus a few extras. This just oozes fall!

I mixed traditional pieces with modern art. Grandmas pewter tea service with a sculptural light. Rustic finishes with clean, modern lines. I just love a layered look!
