DIYing is all about “how to” — and sometimes how NOT to 😉 — so this month we chose a few tips and tricks from the party to share.
Add a little ambiance — Blue I Style showed you how to hang commercial-grade string lights (and why you might consider commercial grade lights at all).
If you have someone heading off to college, make the dorm room a little homier with a chic headboard. The Old Post Road shared how.
Updating trim makes a big difference! See how Mrs. Do It Herself added craftsman style trim to her doorway, while retaining the original trim on the sides of the door.
Also with molding — Real Happy Space shows you how to dress up a basic wood frame.

Lorene has been behind the scenes here at Remodelaholic for more than a decade! She believes that planning projects and actually completing them are two different hobbies, but that doesn't stop her from planning at least a dozen projects at any given time.
